Tornado Warning Issued for Parts of the Midwest

Tornado warning has been issued for parts of the Midwest on Wednesday morning, June 29, 2023. The warning is in effect for the following counties:

  • Adams County, Illinois
  • Brown County, Illinois
  • Clay County, Illinois
  • Hancock County, Illinois
  • Pike County, Illinois
  • Schuyler County, Illinois
  • Wayne County, Illinois

The warning was issued at 11:00 AM CDT and is set to expire at 12:00 PM CDT. The National Weather Service (NWS) is warning of a possible tornado that is capable of producing winds up to 100 miles per hour. The tornado is also expected to produce large hail and dangerous flash flooding.
